Life Insurance Corporation Of India (LIC) is a Central Government job. There is huge competition for this job. Every year lakhs of candidates applied for this job. Life Insurance Corporation of India will be conducting LIC AAO 2021 in three different phases:
- Online Prelims Exam
- Online Mains Exam
- Interview Process
Phase1:- Preliminary Examination
A preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1-hour duration consisting of 3 sections as follows :
Quantitative Aptitude – 35 marks
Reasoning Ability – 35 marks
English – 30 marks
** English Language Test will be of qualifying nature and the marks in the English Language will not be counted for ranking.
Total 70 marks for 1hr
Candidates have to qualify in each of the three-section by securing passing marks to be decided by the LIC.
Phase 2:- Mains Examination
Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks. The objective test will be conducted in online mode. The objective test will have separate timing for every section. Qualification of Preliminary exam is essential to appear for the Mains Exam. However, the marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase I) will not be combined with Mains for selection and final selection will be based on the marks obtained by a candidate in Main Examination (Phase II). There will be negative marks of ¼ marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests for the main examination
