SBI Clerk syllabus and exam pattern 2021: Detailed Syllabus For Mains & Prelims Exam

In this article, we will discuss the SBI Clerk Syllabus and SBI Clerk exam pattern of 2021. The SBI Clerk exam is one of the most reputed bank exams in the country. The SBI Clerk exam is conducted every year to select suitable candidates for the Junior Associates post. Candidates need to qualify both the SBI Clerk Prelims and Mains exams to be eligible for this position. Most of the candidates are indulged in Bank preparation. It provides fast and fair recruitment as compared to other exams. There are many new candidates who are eager to prepare for the SBI CLERK examination to do so. The initial or basic step is to get aware of the syllabus and exam pattern. Exam conducts in two-phase which include prelims, and mains.

Phase 1:- Preliminary Examination

A preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1-hour duration consisting of 3 sections as follows :

Quantitative Aptitude – 35 marks

Reasoning Ability – 35 marks

English – 30 marks

Total 100 marks for 1 hr

Phase 2:- Mains Examination

Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks. The objective test will be conducted in online mode. The objective test will have separate timing for every section. Qualification of Preliminary exam is essential to appear for the Mains Exam. However, the marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase I) will not be combined with Mains for selection and final selection will be based on the marks obtained by a candidate in Main Examination (Phase II). There will be negative marks of ¼ marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests for the main examination. The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be bilingual i.e., English & Hindi.
